What does a FESTIVAL Gran Melia HOTEL stay Guest ticket include?
1 ticket is for 1 person. A single room comes with 1 ticket, double/twin with 2 and so on. 1 ticket to the festival includes:
5 nights accommodation - Single, Double/Twin, Triple (master suite only) . EVERY room has an AMAZING sea view!
Breakfast every morning - 5 star restaurant quality buffet with vegan and vegetarian options and traditional Spanish breakfasts. Endless pastries, yogurts, breads, juices, tea, coffee, cheeses, and other breakfast items plus local honey on the comb and much more. If you like omelets’, a chef will cook yours in front of you, just how you like it!
All BJJ seminars. At least 5 seminars per day, nearly all seminars are 90 minutes long. Three 90 min open mats starting at 6am, 13:00, and 21:00
All Yoga classes. Average 6 classes per day in many different styles with diverse teachers.
Wim Hof Method seminars and Ice baths everyday. 2-3 sessions per day usually in the early afternoon back to back.
Freediving - seminars and dives everyday, with course certificate options.
Gong Bath, Cacao Ceremonies, Meditations, Jungle Dance, workshops and more.
Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP’s) - take them out anytime, we give you snorkels and masks so you can check out below the water as well!
Opening night Paella dinner fiesta. (Seafood, and Vegan varieties) - includes free local wine, sangria, beer, lemonade, bottled water and coffee. Also a variety of traditional Spanish tapas.
Closing night dinner fiesta with local seafood and vegetable BBQ, Spanish tapas, (plenty of Vegan options), includes free local wine, sangria, beer, lemonade, aqua con gas and coffee.
Open access to all evening entertainments from our special guest DJs each night by the pool and access to all parts of the hotel including any lounges, theatres, restaurants, pools, private beach, spa etc. This event is booked as an exclusive run of the house event by Mallorca BJJ and Yoga Festival. The entire property is yours!
Goodie bag (T-shirt, water bottle, wristband)
Not included for free but for 20 euros per day use of the Spa’s saunas, and whirlpools. However, if you book a treatment, like a massage , then use of the spa is free all day.
Non-stay ticket holder
Non-stay ticket holder passes include everything the hotel stay does ACCEPT:

Does not include the opening and closing night dinner parties. Nearer the date if we have availability we´ll release dinner passes for purchase they are each 80€
Where is this festival happening?
The festival takes place at the Gran Melia De Mar hotel in Palma de Mallorca Spain. The festival has full exclusivity “run of the house” of the entire hotel and the grounds.
We divide the hotel grounds into a Yin and Yang, specific to the types of activities that take place there. The experience is difficult to show in any media or website just ask anyone that has gone and they’ll tell you it’s fantastic.
When is the festival?
Be at the Gran Melia de Mar hotel no later than 6pm on Wednesday the 25th of Oct 2023. If you arrive early at the event it´s ok. Your room will likely be ready if it´s not then drop your bags off behind the front desk and enjoy what´s going on during check in day like a yoga class, bjj open mat, chill on a lounger, or go swimming! The festival will run for 5 days checking out Monday the 30th of Oct. Check out is 11am but if you have a late flight, again bags behind the counter and spend the day at the hotel until you have to go.
How do I confirm my place?
As we have booked the entirety of the Gran Melia de Mar hotel all ticket holders must stay at the hotel meaning there will be approximately 200 tickets sold (in addition to nonstay local tickets another 50). All bookings will be handled via our BOOK NOW page which redirects you to our secured payment processing partner WeTravel. From there you can pay via bank transfer, or debit/credit card so we never have access to your card or bank details.
What is NOT included in the full Festival Hotel experience ticket?
Flights, taxi transfers (15-20 min from airport, €20-€25) - (see flight number facebook posts to arrange ride share).
The middle 3 nights dinner, and lunch on any of the days. You can either purchase meals at the lovely onsite restaurant, smoothie, and açai bar or perhaps venture to central Palma (10min-10 euro taxi ride) for some street tapas. There are many street cafes all within a 5 min walk to Sant Augustin (edge of Palma) as well.
Can I choose my room?
First come first serve! The top two floors are supposed to be the best although all the rooms in the hotel in regards to size (other than the suites) and features are exactly the same. EVERY room at the hotel has a stunning view of the sea from its own private balcony. It is impossible to get a bad room! The top floor rooms are said to be preferred because it’s a higher sea view above the native Balearic pine trees Essentially all the rooms are the same but if you book early we’ll start you from the top floor.
Who can attend?
This festival is an adult-only event. All guests must be 18 years or older although teenagers age 15-17 are permitted if a parent or legal guardian is present.
You can be part of any BJJ/Yoga affiliation, practice, school, or discipline it doesn’t matter, all are welcome. Don’t worry if you never practiced Yoga or BJJ before! There will be introductory classes in both and this would be the perfect immersion into a new art form.
What is the weather like?
Late Oct is a great time to be in Mallorca, especially in the sunnier south of the island where the Gran Melia de Mar sits. The average high air temperature will be 22C (73F) with plenty of sunshine. The average sea temperature will be 24C (75F) as well! Before the sun comes up or after the sun goes down a long sleeve shirt, light jacket, or hoodie would be recommended. So packing a light jacket or hoodie in your case is a good idea. We’ll be selling festival hoodies in the lobby!
Where do the actual seminars take place?
At the hotel grounds. All within a few seconds walk from your room. We have one large BJJ Hall, Three small to medium yoga rooms, a large outdoor yoga area directly by the sea water, an open air terrace for any time open mats, spaces under the trees for acro yoga, a secret cove for free diving access and many more spaces.

Traveling alone but want to keep costs down? We are happy to help pair you up with another guest, so that you can share the costs of a larger room whilst making a new friend, at the same time. Just be sure to select that you want to be on the ‘need a roomy list’.
Payments can be made via Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, paypal and bank transfer via our 3rd party payment processor WeTravel. Note, UK bank transfers are the only option not offered (still trying to figure out why)
Can I make payments over time toward the festival?
